Samantha: I grew up in Nephi, Utah (a small town in central Utah). After graduating from high school I moved to Cedar City, and began as a history major (which I loved and almost finished). Spring semester of my sophomore year I took an elective Intro to Photography course which i was initially hesitant to take. Something clicked for me when i took that class though, and by the end of the course I had it in... my mind to change my major (which I did the following spring semester). In the fall of 2011 I declared myself as a Studio Arts Major with an emphasis in photography. I plan to graduate from Southern Utah University in the Spring of 2014 and continue on to a Photography graduate program from that point. -Samantha Peterson
